Seminars to come

The annual NordAN conference will take place in Oslo from October 21st to 22nd.

The theme of the conference is two fold: Saturday morning focuses on important international developments on alcohol and drug policy. The remaining conference has at least a dozen different topics. NordAN is the key Nordic/Baltic marketplace of ideas and resources in the drug and alcohol policy field. Important international policy experts and researchers will attend. Key note speaker is the world famous scientist Jürgen Rehm, the alcohol specialist of the WHO. Other speakers are representatives from the European Commission and the WHO HQ in Genève. We are presently halfway in the two most important international policy developments on alcohol - perhaps in history, both at WHO and EU level. NGOs of the Nordic and Baltic countries must be informed, we must contribute and influence.
